Rift Rebound · Flight guide & support
A clear route
back to the game.
Rift Rebound is currently a TestFlight beta. For help, email connor@cst3media.com. Include your iPhone model, iOS version, build number and the steps that led to the problem. Please do not send passwords, payment details or private information in screenshots.
How do I play?
- Choose Let’s Fly for Endless or Daily Rift for the daily challenge.
- Drag across the track, tap a lane or use the left and right arrow controls.
- Collect diamond-shaped shards and avoid coral barriers. You start with three shields; a hit costs a shield, breaks your chain and reduces your charge.
- Collect nine shards without a charge penalty to fill Overdrive. Tap the charged button for four seconds of barrier-smashing power and double shard points.
- Each five-shard chain raises your scoring multiplier, up to 5×. Finish a run to save the result and earn credits.
What changes each day?
Daily Rift uses one course for each UTC date and lasts up to 90 seconds. It changes at midnight UTC, which may be earlier in your local evening. Survive 30 seconds in Daily Rift to earn a 40-credit bonus once for that day. You can keep replaying the course; there is no streak penalty or requirement to play every day.
How do I pause?
Use the pause button during a run. Choose Resume Flight to return with a short countdown, or Finish this run to save the result. Leaving the app pauses active play. An unfinished run is not preserved if iOS terminates the app.
Why is there no sound?
Game audio follows your iPhone’s Silent Mode and media volume. Check Settings → Sound effects and Music in the game, then check your audio output or headphones. You can disable Haptic feedback separately. Audio pauses when the app becomes inactive; music also stops if headphones disconnect.
Can I reduce movement?
Turn on Reduce motion in the game’s Settings. The game also checks the iPhone’s Reduce Motion preference when the main screen appears. This softens camera movement and effects; the moving course remains part of gameplay.
What is the Prism Pack?
The optional one-time pack adds three cosmetic ship and trail finishes: Glacier, Solar and Rose. It never changes gameplay. The planned US price is $3.99, subject to the final Apple storefront price. If the beta shows Check store availability, the product may not yet be available. All gameplay remains free.
When a product is available in TestFlight, purchases use Apple’s sandbox and do not charge real money. Test purchases are separate from production App Store purchases. For an existing production purchase, use Hangar → Restore Purchases with the Apple Account that bought it. Restoration requires a network connection and does not restore local scores or earned credits.
Where is my progress saved?
Your credits, unlocked finishes, settings, lifetime records and latest 200 runs are stored locally. Records displays a chart and details for the latest 20 runs. There is no automatic cross-device sync or developer recovery server. Device or iCloud backups may include this data according to your Apple settings.
Do not delete the app as a first troubleshooting step: deleting it removes local progress. Offloading an app is different and may keep its documents. If you see a storage or unreadable-save warning, send us its exact wording; the app preserves an unreadable file instead of overwriting it with new progress.
How do I install or update the beta?
Open your invitation on the iPhone and follow Apple’s TestFlight instructions. Open TestFlight to see available builds and updates. Availability depends on your invitation and the build’s status. There is no public App Store download yet.
What feedback helps most?
Tell us whether the controls felt immediate, whether a collision felt fair, how long it took to reach your first Overdrive and whether you wanted another run. Send crashes and screenshots through TestFlight’s feedback tools, or email support. Review screenshots and recordings for private notifications before sharing them.
