Dual N-Back support
For the current private beta, include your iPhone model, iOS version, app version and the steps that led to the issue. Do not include private check-in notes or full backups unless necessary and you choose to share them.
How do I play?
Watch the position and listen to the spoken letter. Tap Position if the position matches exactly N presentations earlier. Tap Sound if the letter matches. Tap both for a simultaneous match; tap neither when neither matches. Initial warm-ups are not scored. Studio → How to play opens the introduction.
How do I see N-level progress?
Open Insights → Level progress. Choose a time range and daily, weekly or monthly grouping to see average N and range, plus first-reached milestones. The charts use your existing completed blocks.
Why can’t I hear letters?
Use Check your sound before a block. Raise media volume and check your audio destination. Try the iPhone speaker. Spoken training cues play in Silent Mode because they are part of the task. Restart a block after an interruption; unfinished blocks do not enter your history.
What counts toward a streak?
At least one completed block counts for a training day. A saved daily check-in counts for the separate check-in streak. The tutorial is not a completed block. Missing a day does not erase saved history.
Why does no response score 50%?
Balanced accuracy gives equal weight to match detection and non-match rejection. Never tapping misses all matches but correctly ignores non-matches, producing 50% in this task. Read the hit, miss and false-alarm counts together.
How do I back up or delete data?
In Studio, Export complete backup creates JSON with history, notes and preferences. Import merges supported records while preserving existing entries and current settings. Raw CSV is for analysis, not restoration. Delete all training data removes local sessions and check-ins after confirmation while retaining preferences. Exported files and device backups must be managed separately.
Reminder settings
Reminders are optional local notifications. Enable or disable them in the app and review the iPhone’s notification permission settings. There is no remote reminder server.
Is this a medical or intelligence test?
No. These are practice-task statistics, not IQ scores, diagnosis or treatment. The app does not promise broader cognitive or medical outcomes.
