Dual N-Back privacy policy

What stays on your device
The app stores completed sessions, trial responses, response timing, task settings and preferences. Optional check-ins contain your chosen energy and focus ratings and notes. These records power history, charts and streaks. There is no app account, advertising, tracking SDK, analytics service or developer-hosted training database.
Audio and reminders
Spoken letters use the device’s system speech facilities. The app does not record microphone audio or access HealthKit. Optional reminders use local notifications subject to your permission and system settings.
Exports and sharing
A complete JSON backup includes check-in notes and preferences. Raw CSV contains trial data. A result image includes the session day, N level, cadence, balanced accuracy, hits, misses and false alarms, but excludes check-in ratings and notes. You choose the destination through the system share sheet. That destination receives the file and its own policies apply. There is no automatic app-operated cloud sync.
Deletion and retained copies
Studio → Delete all training data removes local sessions and check-ins after confirmation but keeps preferences. Deleting the app removes its local data; offloading may retain documents. These actions do not erase prior exports, shared files, support emails or Apple/device backups. Manage those copies separately. We do not host your training library and cannot remotely recover or delete it.
Apple and TestFlight
Apple handles App Store purchases, device backups, TestFlight testing information, crash diagnostics and feedback under its own policies and your device settings. We do not receive payment-card details through this app. TestFlight may make beta feedback and diagnostic information available to us. Review screenshots and attachments before submitting feedback.
When you contact support
If you email CST3 Media, LLC, we receive your email address, message and attachments to respond and investigate. The app does not automatically attach your records. Share only what is needed. You may email us about access to or deletion of support correspondence, subject to applicable recordkeeping obligations.
Policy updates and contact
This policy applies to this iPhone app. The CST3 Media website, external research links, your mail provider and services you choose for sharing have their own privacy practices.
