Neat Routine support

Build your first routine
Choose your rooms on first launch, then tap Build my routine. In Today, choose 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes. Start my reset selects due routines that fit the available time. Tap Done only when you finish; Skip for now leaves the routine incomplete.
Customize rooms and chores
Open Rooms to add a room or edit a routine. Set the title, time estimate and repeat interval to suit your home. You can archive routines you no longer need and restore them later. Use a routine’s options to postpone it. The next due date is based on its completion history and schedule, with no duplicate chores added for missed days.
Timer and reminders
The focus timer keeps elapsed time when you leave the app, but does not sound an alarm in the background. Optional daily reminders are local notifications. Enable them in the app’s Settings and allow notifications in iOS. Focus, notification settings and device conditions can silence or delay delivery.
Progress and accidental completions
Progress shows 14-, 30- and 90-day completion charts and recent care history. Use Undo for an accidental completion. Estimated minutes describe routine estimates, not a measurement of actual cleaning time.
Back up or move your plan
In Settings, export a JSON backup and keep it somewhere you control. Importing a backup replaces the current plan after confirmation; the app preserves a local copy of the previous data for recovery. CSV is for reviewing history, and PDF is for printing or sharing a plan. Neither replaces an editable JSON backup. There is no automatic cross-device sync or live household sharing.
If saved data cannot be opened
The app preserves the unreadable file and prevents edits. Restore a valid JSON backup in Settings or contact support before deleting the app. Deleting the app removes its local data and recovery files; offloading is different and may retain them.
Purchase and requirements
Neat Routine is a one-time paid iPhone app with all features included, no subscription and no in-app purchases. It requires iOS 17 or later. Apple handles downloads, billing and refund requests through your Apple Account and reportaproblem.apple.com.
Privacy
No app account is required. Your plan is stored locally unless you choose to export or share it. Device backups follow your Apple settings. See the privacy policy for full details.
