PhotoTaper Privacy Policy

PhotoTaper privacy policy

Effective October 15, 2026. PhotoTaper is provided by CST3 Media, LLC. Contact: connor@cst3media.com.

On-device image processing

PhotoTaper processes the images you select on your device. It does not upload your images, file names, results or activity history to CST3 Media or an image-processing server. It has no account system, advertising SDK, tracking SDK or analytics service.

Photos and Files access

Apple’s system picker provides the photos you select; the app does not scan your entire library. Files access is limited to the documents you choose. If you tap Save copies to Photos, the app requests permission to add new images. Your originals are not changed or deleted.

Temporary images and local records

Selected image copies, previews and outputs are held in the app’s disposable cache for the working session and are removed at its next launch. iOS may clear cached files. Export files you want to keep before leaving the batch. Saved presets and up to 100 numeric batch summaries remain locally; those summaries contain dates, counts, size totals and recipe summaries, not image files. Local preferences and summaries may be included in your device backups under your Apple settings. There is no app-managed cloud sync.

Exported copies and metadata

Exported images are freshly encoded without source EXIF, IPTC or GPS dictionaries. Color or orientation information needed to render the new image may be present. Anything visibly shown in an image remains visible. Export file names may be based on the imported name. Sharing or saving through Apple’s share sheet sends selected exports to destinations you choose; their privacy practices then apply. Photos and Files can sync through Apple or another provider according to your own settings.

Deletion and control

Start a new batch to clear the current work from the screen. Temporary cache files clear at the next app launch. Swipe a custom preset to delete it, or use Clear activity to remove summary history. Deleting the app removes its local app data; exported copies and existing backups are controlled separately through their respective services. Offloading an app may retain local data.

Purchases, Apple services and support

Apple handles App Store payment, download and optional TestFlight services under Apple’s privacy terms. CST3 Media does not receive your payment-card details. Apple may make sales reports or opt-in diagnostics available under your Apple settings. If you voluntarily email support, we receive what you send and use it to answer and maintain support records as needed. Please avoid sending sensitive images or documents. This website and your email provider may process ordinary web or email information under their own applicable policies.

Children and changes

PhotoTaper is a general-purpose utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app. We may update this policy when practices change and will revise the effective date. Any future data collection must be reflected in the policy and App Store disclosures.
