PourKit support
Questions about a job, calculation or backup? Email connor@cst3media.com.
Include your iPhone model, iOS version, PourKit version and the steps that led to the issue. For a calculation question, include the shape, units, dimensions, extra allowance, order increment and bag yield. A screenshot can help; remove client names, addresses and other private details you do not need to share. Do not email passwords or payment-card details.
How do I start?
Open Jobs, choose Plan a new job or New job, enter a name and save. Add a pour, choose its shape and enter its dimensions. Alternatively, start in Calculate and create a saved job from the estimate. The example job is labelled as example data; its dimensions are not structural recommendations.
Which number should I order?
Measured volume comes from your pour dimensions. Your chosen extra allowance is added, then ready-mix is rounded up to the selected order increment. Bag quantities use the allowance-adjusted volume and your selected yield, rounded up to whole bags. Check the result and your supplier's ordering terms before buying. Ready-mix and bag figures are alternative ways to supply the job, not quantities to add together.
Why did changing a bag setting change the count?
Yield is the volume a bag produces, not its weight. PourKit's reference presets use approximate QUIKRETE Concrete Mix No. 1101 yields, but another product may differ. Check the exact product label and enter a custom yield when needed. PourKit is not affiliated with QUIKRETE.
What does changing units do?
In job settings, switching between imperial and metric preserves the physical pour dimensions and converts the ready-mix order increment and per-volume price. Bag yield displays in cubic feet or liters. Currency remains USD. Review the displayed units before entering a number.
Why can't I save a pour?
Enter positive dimensions for the selected shape. Use a decimal or a fraction such as 12 1/2, with your device's decimal separator. Do not type a unit or thousands separator in the numeric field. The unit is shown beside it. A job also needs a name. In job settings, optional prices may be blank; zero means no charge.
Are delivery, tax and labor included?
Only prices you enter are used. The optional delivery fee is added to the ready-mix estimate. Tax and labor are not included. Supplier minimums, short-load charges and special mix costs are not fetched automatically.
How do I back up or move my jobs?
From Jobs, open the options menu and choose Export backup. Save the JSON file somewhere you control, such as Files. On the destination device, use Import backup and select that file. Import adds new copies and leaves existing jobs intact; importing the same archive again creates additional copies. A PDF is a readable worksheet and cannot be imported as an editable job archive.
Backups are limited to 10 MB and must be valid PourKit JSON archives. The library supports up to 500 jobs, with up to 200 pours per job and up to 10,000 pours in an archive. Large notes or other data can reach the file-size limit sooner. Keep a recent export before replacing or deleting the app.
What should I do if a recovery notice appears?
Do not delete the app to troubleshoot. PourKit preserves the unreadable save and, when available, shows a valid previous save read-only. Use Export original for recovery to keep a copy outside the app. If Restore readable backup is offered, it restores that previous save; recent changes may not be in it. The unreadable original is retained locally. If restoration is unavailable or fails, contact support and describe the notice. Share a recovery file only if you are comfortable sharing the job information it may contain.
Does deleting a job remove every copy?
Deleting a job removes it from the current library. The app's previous-save recovery copy can still contain it until a later save replaces that copy. Previously exported PDFs, JSON files, preserved unreadable recovery files and device or cloud backups may also retain information. Manage those copies separately. Deleting the app removes its local app data; offloading the app is different and can retain its documents. Read the PourKit privacy page for details.
Can PourKit design my foundation or certify a quantity?
No. PourKit is a quantity-estimation tool. It does not specify structural dimensions, reinforcement, strength, curing, mix suitability or code compliance. Follow the relevant product instructions and consult the appropriate qualified professional and supplier for your project.
